Awesome replacement but difficult removal

This pressed in nicely with some sealant around the end going in, placing a spanner around the end collar face and knocking the spanner for a while til it pressed in snug. Removal of the old one was incredibly difficult however and after many different attempts, I ended up cutting off the old pipe near to the block opening and then using a diamond dremel tool to cut through the cylindrical wall inside the block connection so to weaken the wall and the pipe as a whole (ie there was a long cut down the axis of the pipe). Made sure to not cut too deep into it but ended up going into the aluminium of the block a tad as it's so hard to tell when to stop cutting through the pipe wall (but a bunch of sealant in that area would help prevent leaks once the new one went in). Then a strong pair of vice grips around the collar and some twisting allowed it to come free!
